SELECT / TRAVEL PROGRAM (Winter 2008 - 2009) BOYS & GIRLS Ages 10 - 18 The Travel / Select program is designed for our most skilled players. This is the highest level of competition in our winter youth program. Teams participate in the Fairfax County Youth Basketball League. Our Braddock Road Youth Club teams will compete against other youth club teams in Fairfax County. Our Travel/ Select teams will hold tryouts for placement on our Division I or Division II team. Player selected for these teams will practice twice a week and compete on Saturdays or Sundays. Cost $100.00 + County Fees Tryouts for the Boys 10-13 and Girls 10-14 age groups are held in October. Select League Tryouts Tryouts for the BRYC Select teams will be held in the beginning of October. Players with above average skills in their age group are encouraged to try out.  Players not selected for a select league team can play in the BRYC House League. All players should try to attend each session for their age group.  No player can be placed on a team without attending at least one tryout session.  No fee is charged to tryout.
